The things people most often ask about websites, lessons, and YourPond.
Websites
What does ongoing care include?
Once you're live, I take care of the updates, the content changes, and keeping things running smoothly. Tell me what you need, and I'll handle the rest.
What do you need from me to get started?
A short brief on what you want your website to accomplish. From there, it's a collaborative process, personalized to you.
What does the process look like?
There are three steps. Design: we start with your goals, your audience, and the feel you're after, and I shape a design that looks and sounds like you. Build & launch: I build the site around your content so it works on phones and computers alike, then launch it when you're happy. Ongoing care: after launch, I handle updates and content changes and keep things running smoothly.
Who do you build websites for?
Creative businesses, like artists, makers, photographers, and florists. Independent professionals, like coaches, consultants, therapists, and writers. And small businesses, like shops, studios, and local businesses ready for a stronger online presence, whether you're just starting out or ready for a refresh.
How long does a website take?
Anywhere from one week to two months, depending on the scope.
One-on-one
What can we work on in a lesson?
We start by getting you set up with the right tools: GitHub, Cloudflare, and the tech stack you want to build with, like Next.js, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Python, or Postgres, plus how you'll deploy. That first step covers the fundamentals, so you start building correctly, with the right precautions in place.
Do I need any experience?
No. You don't need to have it all figured out. A question is enough to start a conversation, and you can move forward at your own pace.
How do I get started?
Tell me what you want to learn through the contact form. From there, we agree on a focus, work through it together, and you leave with a clear next step.
